Whether we’re talking about a movie or a new comic series, my response is NO.
We all know by now that Alan Moore has taken his name off all his movie projects and rejected any monetary compensation or royalities. He gave them the rights to do it, but wanted nothing to do with it. So, apparently, if there was going to be some Watchmen prequel or Watchmen: Redux or Watchmen sequel, it wouldn’t be written by Moore. So right there….bullshit
Then there’s this: ” But the news broke that Paul Levitz was stepping down from DC Comics as both President and Publisher, I wondered what that meant for the possibility of a Watchmen sequel. Certainly in a hundred years, you couldn’t expect there not to be one.” - - I’m sorry, what? you COULDN’T expect there not to be one? I can expect it and I have expected it and will continue to expect it!!
